This course is designed to give students an understanding of life. The study of life is approached from various perspectives, including a cellular and ecological viewpoint. The study of life is divided into five major units: scientific inquiry, organization and development of living things (cells, reproduction, stability), heredity (genetics, DNA), evolution (changes over time, adaptations), and ecology (interactions of life & environment). Laboratory investigations and problem solving are emphasized in each unit.
Attention Parents! Our science classroom is in need of kleenex, hand sanitizer, extra pencils and chlorox wipes! Donations will be accepted any time during the school year. Thanks for your support!!
